佐賀県唐津市・波戸岬の盛夏の夕暮れ。
玄界灘に沈む夕日と、静けさに包まれた海を1分間のタイムラプスで切り取りました。
ここは、佐賀県唐津市・波戸（はど）岬。
東松浦半島から、ぽこっと海へ突き出た小さな岬です。
撮影したのは、国民宿舎の下に広がる波戸海岸の一角。
夏の夕暮れ時でしたが、海岸には誰の姿もなく、店もすべて閉まっていました。
名物のサザエのつぼ焼きや、必見とされる海中展望塔も、この時間はすでに営業終了。
それでも、不思議と物足りなさは感じませんでした。
むしろ、酷暑の夏だからこそ出会えた、静かな夕暮れ。
玄界灘に沈んでいく夕日と、刻々と色を変える空と海。
これほど贅沢なロケーションは、そう多くありません。
波戸岬は「日本渚百選」「玄海国定公園」に選ばれ、
さらに「恋人の聖地プロジェクト・サテライト」にも認定されています。
夕日を眺めながら、ただ静かに言葉を交わす——
そんな時間そのものが、“聖地”と呼ばれる理由なのかもしれません。
2025年の夏、唐津を走り回りました。
新鮮なイカの活き造り、豊かな海の幸、美しい海岸線と棚田、そして整った町並みとお城。
何度でも訪れたくなる、大好きな場所です。
なお、2026年「神々の色いろ」カレンダーの7月は、この唐津の朝景を選びました。

A summer twilight at Hado Cape in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture.
This one-minute time-lapse captures the quiet sea and sunset over the Genkai Sea.
This is Hado Cape, located in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture.
A small cape gently jutting out into the sea from the Higashimatsuura Peninsula.
I filmed this scene at a quiet corner of Hado Beach, just below the national lodge.
It was a summer evening, yet the shore was empty and all the shops had already closed.
The famous turban shell grills and the much-praised undersea observation tower were no longer open at this hour.
And still, I didn’t feel any sense of loss.
On the contrary, it was a calm and precious twilight—
a moment that could only be found in the intense heat of summer.
The sun slowly sinking into the Genkai Sea,
the sky and water changing colors with every passing minute.
Places like this are rare.
Hado Cape is selected as one of Japan’s “100 Best Beaches,”
part of the Genkai Quasi-National Park,
and is also recognized as a satellite site of the “Sacred Place for Lovers” project.
Watching the sunset together, quietly sharing words—
perhaps that very moment is why this place is called “sacred.”
In the summer of 2025, I traveled throughout Karatsu.
Fresh squid sashimi, abundant seafood, beautiful coastlines and terraced rice fields,
a charming townscape crowned by its castle—
a place I find myself wanting to return to again and again.
For July in the 2026 “Colors of the Gods” calendar,
I chose a morning scene from Karatsu.
Different from twilight, yet filled with a divine, radiant light—
