ここは富士山五合目近くにある奥庭。
今回は、音楽を使わず、現場で聞こえる自然の音だけでお届けします。
奥庭は、「御庭」「御中道」とともに、富士山の森林限界付近を歩くことができる貴重な散策路のひとつです。
登山道とは違い、ゆっくりと自然を感じながら歩ける場所で、小御岳神社へと道が続いています。
この日は天気にも恵まれ、早朝からウグイスたちが歌声を競い合うように、美しい囀りを響かせていました。
風雪に耐えながら独特の姿へと育ったカラマツ。
黒い溶岩の隙間から力強く芽吹く高山植物や苔。
標高二千三百メートルを超える森林限界ならではの自然が、あちらこちらに息づいています。
間近に見上げる富士山は、遠くから眺める優美な姿とはまったく違う表情を見せてくれます。
荒々しい岩肌、はっきりと分かる森林限界。
そこには、火山としての富士山の力強さがありました。
ここに美しき日本があります。

This is Okuniwa, located near the Fifth Station of Mount Fuji.
This time, there is no music—only the natural sounds recorded on location.
Together with Oniwa and the Ochudo Trail, Okuniwa is one of the few walking routes where visitors can experience the area around Mount Fuji’s tree line without following a regular climbing trail.
The path allows you to walk slowly through the landscape, surrounded by nature, and eventually leads toward Komitake Shrine.
We were blessed with beautiful weather that day.
From early morning, Japanese bush warblers filled the forest with their clear songs, almost as if they were competing with one another.
Larch trees, shaped into distinctive forms by years of wind and snow.
Alpine plants and moss growing resiliently through gaps in the dark volcanic rock.
At an elevation of more than 2,300 meters, the unique natural world of Mount Fuji’s tree line is alive everywhere you look.
Seen from up close, Mount Fuji reveals a completely different face from the graceful mountain viewed from afar.
Its rugged slopes and clearly defined tree line reveal the raw power of Mount Fuji as a volcano.
