富士山とお月様。
ボクは、細い細いお月様が好きです。
もちろん満月も美しいのですが、夜明け前や夕暮れにひっそりと浮かぶ細い月を見つけると、なぜか嬉しくなります。
細い月は新月（朔）の前後に見ることができます。
新月前の月は明け方の空に、新月後の月は夕方の空に現れます。
今回の映像に映るのは、新月を迎える少し前、月齢27日頃の細い月。
普段よく目にする三日月とは反対向きの姿です。
太陽は毎日、東から昇り西へ沈みます。
けれど月は、日ごとに形を変え、昇る時間も沈む時間も変わっていきます。
そして潮の満ち引きにも深く関わり、昔は夜道を照らす灯りとして、人々の暮らしを支えてきました。
夜空を見上げた時、そこに月が浮かんでいると少し安心する。
そんな気持ちは、きっと世界中の人々に共通しているのかもしれません。
夜明け前の空に浮かぶ細い月と、その向こうに佇む富士山。
静かな時間の中で出会った、美しい朝の風景です。

Mt. Fuji and the Moon.
I have always loved the thin, delicate crescent moon.
Of course, a full moon is beautiful as well, but there is something special about discovering a slender moon quietly hanging in the sky before dawn or at dusk. It always brings me a sense of joy.
A thin crescent moon can be seen around the time of the new moon.
Before the new moon, it appears in the early morning sky.
After the new moon, it can be seen in the evening sky.
The moon in this video is a waning crescent, about 27 days into the lunar cycle, just before the new moon.
Unlike the familiar crescent moon often seen after sunset, it faces the opposite direction.
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west every day.
The moon, however, changes its shape from day to day, and its rising and setting times are constantly shifting.
The moon also plays an important role in the tides, and in times before streetlights, the bright moonlit nights around the full moon helped people travel safely after dark.
The moon has always been closely connected to our daily lives.
Whenever I look up and see the moon in the night sky, I feel a sense of comfort and calm.
Perhaps that feeling is shared by people all around the world.
