先週に引き続き、中央アルプス・千畳敷カールから。
標高2,612m。
夜中の2時ごろ、ふと目が覚めて夜空を見上げると、そこには満天の星。
この星空が、どんな朝の風景へと変わっていくのか。
ワクワクが止まりませんでした。
外気温は、氷点下15℃ほど。
けれど不思議と、寒さも痛さもあまり感じません。
午前4時を過ぎたころ、東に連なる南アルプスの稜線が、静かにオレンジ色へと輝きはじめます。
甲斐駒ヶ岳、北岳、その奥に富士山。
中央アルプス、南アルプス、そして富士山。
その位置関係が、ひとつのパノラマとして見えてくる朝でした。
あたりが少しずつ明るくなると、眼下には雲海が広がっていました。
標高2,612m。
千畳敷カールで迎えた、別世界のような朝のご褒美です。
ここに美しき日本があります。

From last week once again, this is the morning at Senjojiki Cirque in the Senjojiki Cirque, part of the Central Alps.
Elevation: 2,612 meters.
Around 2 a.m., I woke up and looked up at the night sky.
Above me stretched a sky filled with countless stars.
I could hardly contain my excitement, wondering what kind of morning landscape this sky would create.
The outside temperature was around -15°C.
And yet, strangely enough, I barely felt the cold or the pain.
Just after 4 a.m., the ridgeline of the Southern Alps to the east slowly began to glow orange.
Mount Kaikoma, Mount Kita, and beyond them, Mount Fuji.
It was a panorama that somehow revealed the relationship between the Central Alps, the Southern Alps, and Mt. Fuji.
As the world gradually grew brighter, a sea of clouds appeared below.
A reward from 2,612 meters above sea level —
a breathtaking morning in another world.
