時間さえも静止しているような場所。
人の気配が届かない領域にある、
それでも確かに存在する、美しさ。

This is Senjojiki Cirque in the Central Alps.
At an elevation of 2,612 meters.
Light arriving from the cosmos illuminates the snow-covered land.
A deep, dense blue sky, endlessly clear.
Late March.
Nearly three meters of snow, and clouds quietly rising.
There is almost no sound.
Only the occasional call of a rock ptarmigan connects this world.
Everything is absorbed into the snow,
as if even time itself has come to a standstill.
