ここは山梨県の甲斐市のホッチ峠。韮崎市の境にある峠で標高1093メートル。ここから正面の山々の稜線から突き抜けた富士山を見ることができます。今回は曇天で富士山は視認できず、でも甲斐の国（いや甲府市かな）を覆い尽くす雲海に遭遇できました。
This is the Hochi Pass in Kai City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The pass is located on the border of Nirasaki City at an elevation of 1093 meters. From here, you can see Mt. Fuji poking out from the ridges of the mountains in front of you. Fuji was not visible this time due to cloudy weather, but we were able to see a sea of clouds covering the country of Kai (or maybe Kofu City).
でも、ここに来る途中で雲海が発生しているなんて全く期待もせず、峠に到着して初めて「お〜ぉ、雲海だ〜！！」って感じです。期待をしてない風景に遭遇する幸せ、これはとても嬉しいですね。次回は是非ここから富士山を拝んでみたいと新たな期待を胸に再訪を誓いホッチ峠を後にしました。
